Role Description To contribute in the process of refining and enhancing, on an ongoing basis, the current and future sales and marketing strategy. Manage and support a high-performance team who deliver and execute the company's sales, marketing, brand and communications (both internal and external) functions. ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure that annual growth targets are met and ideally exceeded to increase the company's market share.Investigate and identify areas of expansion for solution sales.Plan, develop and implement an effective marketing, brand and communication strategy and the subsequent campaigns.Manage the quality and standards of copy and branding for all marketing collateral, bids and proposal documents, presentations, external and internal communications in all media formats including brochures, letters, emails, websites and social media.Ensure brand and communication activity is developed and managed with the audience in mind and the Company's values, strategic objectives and customer relationship strategy.Take ownership and maintain the company's corporate identity manual and ensure that its directives and guidelines are always adhered to by the company and its representatives.Support the Sales and Marketing team and group EXCO with all their desktop publishing requirements including but not limited to customer proposals and presentations.Manage the brand and communications budget to ensure that it is implemented on the appropriate initiatives and within its parameters.Assist with marketing elements and communications of change management endeavours.Manage budget in conjunction with CSMO.Conduct strategy sessions and compile and update the corporate strategy plan in conjunction with the CEO.Represent Bidvest Facilities Management at trade shows and association meetings to promote products and services.Provide a comprehensive sales and marketing report on a monthly and quarterly basis.From time to time, you may be called upon to perform duties as and when required that may not be covered in this job specification.QualificationMatric (Senior Certificate).Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma in Sales/Business Development/Marketing.Valid Driver's License.ExperienceMin 8-10 Years' Solid Experience In Business Development, Market Trends & Best Practices Within The Marketing/Sales Environment.Strong Sales & Marketing Knowledge (Ideally in the Services Industry), Negotiation Skills, Project Management, Commercial Acumen.MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook (advanced skill level).Fundamental CompetenciesStrong Commercial Acumen.Customer/Client Focused.Negotiation Skills.Interactive Reasoning.Planning & Scheduling.Ability & Desire To Sell.Result Oriented.Attention To Detail.Stress Tolerant.Excellent Written Communication.Teamwork.Relationship Building.Good Listening Skills.Excellent Oral Communication.Creative & Innovative.Team Leadership.People & Task Orientated.Assertiveness.Action Orientated.
