National Sales Manager - Oncology

The First Line Sales Manager is a full-time position, responsible for developing and implementing Oncology brand strategies. The Sales Manager will work very closely with the Business Unit Director to deploy and adapt the brand strategy to the local market, including tactics and execution. The Sales Manager reports to the SA Business Unit Director. The Sales Manager leads, coaches and develops the team of Patient Journey Partners, in order to achieve high patient penetration rates by delivering the set sales budgets and growth ambitionThe Sales Manager will lead the team to drive patients identification, sales activities through proactive identification of business opportunities, communicating value propositions aligned to customers needs and objectives and recommending solutions to drive and develop the Oncology portfolio.Full responsibility of managing sales team for the assigned therapeutic areas including staffing, performance management, and overall organization of field activitiesDevelops sales plans for the Oncology portfolio by identifying key opportunities and the specific actions to realize them in accordance with the strategy and tactics defined in the brand planAnalyses and monitor data behind competitive actions to determine the opportunities and risks for Oncology portfolio, as well as to make appropriate recommendations to maximize opportunities and mitigate potential risksManages effectively budget/cost focused on priorities to deliver on business planPlans, monitors and reports team activities accurately, in line with standardsCoaches and trains team to continuously enhance capabilities in order to meet the expected performance and ethical standards. Implements performance management process and facilitates the individual development plansWork closely with and leverage the expertise of Medical and Marketing teams to achieve business results in the designated territoryIdentifies and establishes a close relationship with KEEs to achieve performance goals and a competitive advantageWorks cross-functionally to ensure effective implementation of brand plans and timely feedback on market dynamics.Demonstrate business ethics and ensure active respect of values, business ethics, local laws, policies and Marketing procedures Ensure all activities and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with the high standards of ethics and integrity required by the Code of Conduct, supporting Policies and Standards and Company Values to protect and enhance long term performance and reputationOther duties within positions scope, as assigned by Line ManagerProven pharmaceutical commercial experience including Oncology. Patient-centric approach with detailed knowledge of patient flow/journeyMinimum of 5 years sales management experience within an innovative pharmaceutical company with focus on specialty care business4 Years People Leadership Experience with a proven track record5 - 10 years industry experience, preferably in niche markets.Proven track record of relationship development with healthcare professionals and physiciansAbility to work autonomously, in matrix organization preferredAbility to oversee a National RegionMust be able to travelProven leadership skills and a strong team playerPrevious people management experience will be an advantageAbility to challenge, influence, contract and drive changeDemonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and orientation towards solutions; challenging the status quo in the right wayExcellent communication skills and influencing skills
