Roles and Responsibilities:

Maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed set goals. Continually map and identify business strengths and customer needs.
Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.
Maintain an active pipeline of feasible sales opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
Analyse sales data and prepare comprehensive sales reports for senior management review.
Ensure oversight of competitor offerings to best understand position within the market.
Lead, manage, and motivate the national sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team members' skills.
Develop training programmes to upskill the sales team and improve sales techniques.
Manage recruitment initiatives for new sales team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the national sales team.
Manage the commission structure and ensure timely processing of commission payments.
Handle sales-related claims and ensure prompt resolution.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve sales operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Develop strategies for customer retention and loyalty.
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Analyse sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and market trends.
Monitor and report on sales activities and results against targets.
Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region.
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Provide regular updates to relevant department heads on sales performance and initiatives.
Facilitate communication and coordination between the sales team and other departments.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute national marketing campaigns.
Provide input on marketing strategies based on market insights and sales data.
Ensure alignment between sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
Lead strategic projects and initiatives to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales effectiveness.
Manage the execution of sales-related projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the national sales team.
Develop specific plans to ensure growth both short-term and long-term.
Guide management team members through industry insights and sales strategies.

EDUCATION

Grade 12.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field would be an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

8 years of experience in sales, with 3 years at team management level, is desired.
Good knowledge of Sectional Title / Community Schemes would be an advantage.

SKILLS

Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written.
Fluency in other official South African languages would be an advantage.
Thorough understanding of sales processes and cycles including cold-prospecting.
Confident in public speaking and presentations.
Interpersonal skills and able to build firm networks.
Ability to be a team player when solving complex matters
Ability to support customers and business partners during the sales cycles.
Efficient time management and prioritisation skills.
Full MS Office suite at intermediate level.
