Minimum Requirements
What We're Looking For:
A degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, or a relevant field.
A minimum of 3 years of national retail buying experience, within the Groceries FMCG sector.
Strong negotiation skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven experience in driving category growth and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management and Negotiations: Lead negotiations with national and regional suppliers to secure competitive pricing and promotional deals, ensuring optimal margins and trade agreements.
Sales and Profitability: Manage sales and profitability for your assigned categories by selecting the right products and planning promotions to meet targets.
Stock and Inventory Control: Oversee stock management for stores and distribution centres, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing overstocks.
Promotional Planning: Develop and implement strategic promotional plans in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring flawless execution and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
Product Ranging and Innovation: Drive product range decisions and innovation to keep Boxer's offerings competitive and aligned with market demands.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor your team, fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and professional development.
