National Operations ManagerRedheads Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd is seeking to employ a dynamic National Operations Manager to join their team. This company specializes in the sales, manufacturing, and installation of tombstones. The ideal candidate must possess a robust background in manufacturing or production.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of the National Operations Manager is to implement effective processes and procedures across the organization.This includes formulating strategies, enhancing performance, procuring resources, and ensuring compliance.The role entails mentoring team members, enhancing customer service quality, and promoting best practices at all levels.Ultimately, the National Operations Manager is entrusted with ensuring the factories maintain compliance, efficiency, and profitability.Compiling and implementing documented Standard Operating Procedures.Overseeing operations across three factories.Enhancing operational systems and processes.Managing inventory and efficiency.Ensuring legal compliance.Setting strategic objectives.Maintaining quality controls.Supervising staff.Reporting to top management, the National Operations Manager directly oversees operational staff.Desired Experience & QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Business, Operations Management, or related field.Less than 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing or a related area.Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete product manufacturing.Proven track record as Operations Manager or similar role.Proficiency in organisational effectiveness and operations management.Experience in budgeting and forecasting.Knowledge of business and financial principles.Background in manufacturing or production.Familiarity with various industry concepts, practices, and procedures.Demonstrated ability to plan and achieve goals with extensive experience and judgment.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Understanding of labor legislation and health & safety procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge of organisational management systems, including policies and procedures across financial, administrative, operational, and HR domains.Package & RemunerationMarket Related
