Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the strategic account plan at a National and Regional level to ensure delivery of budgeted sales, profit and set objectives.
Requirements:Relevant Tertiary qualification.Computer literacy, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).Minimum 5 years relevant experience within Foodservice/Industrial environment.Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience within a similar role.Bidfood/ Spur Corporation account management experience will be preferred.

Job Summary (but not limited to):Building and maintaining successful commercial business relationships with customers.Formulating customer strategy and delivering commercial plans.Negotiating trading terms, ad spend, pricing, promotions, ranging and new product listings.Annually develop a comprehensive account plan to deliver on set account & channel KPIs.Analyse, compile and review performance of account plan incorporating competitor, category & shopper dynamics to deliver maximum sales and profit.Drive category, space, and discounts management in line with the channel & account plan.Implement the agreed pricing policies.Negotiate, control, and execute the implementation of the annual account promotional grid & budgeted spend ensuring alignment to the companys annual marketing plan.Complete pre & post evaluation of Return on Investment of all promotions to ensure maximum commercial effectiveness.Develop the appropriate cross functional contact strategy (includes identifying key contacts & establishing frequency of contact) with assigned customers.Working closely with customer DCs, including order management, replenishment, demand planning and other operational activities.Working closely with the sales operations teams as well as third party merchandising agents within the regions.Working across cross functional teams within the business to achieve set objectives.
