The purpose of this position is to oversee the administration of National Suppliers for the National Branch, manage the regional branches' Debtors books, and maintain the business's Fixed Asset registers. Additional national administrative responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Key Responsibilities: Management of National Creditors: Oversee supplier reconciliations and payments for all National Departments, including Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, IT, and others.Oversight of Regional Branch Debtors: Conduct ongoing, rigorous reviews of branch debtor aging to ensure timely collection of overdue accounts and reduction of provisions.Monthly Debtor Collection Targets: Establish and drive monthly debtor collection targets across the business.Resolution of Overdue Debtors: Assist branches in resolving overdue debtor issues and managing customer disputes.Customer Account Management: Handle the opening of new customer accounts in Kerridge.Management of Fixed Asset Registers: Oversee the business's fixed asset registers, including annual reassessment of asset useful lives, reviewing and approving low-value capital expenditures, conducting fixed asset verification exercises, and preparing fixed asset movement schedules and disclosures for the accounts department on a monthly basis.Management Account Analysis: Analyze management accounts to ensure that overhead spending and allocations are accurate and aligned with the budget.Annual Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation of annual Kerridge departmental budgets.Support for Branches and National Departments: Provide assistance to branches and National departments with their administrative queries and issues.Financial Administration Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality financial management of branch operations, aligning with budgets and company strategic objectives.Report Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports as required. Must have qualifications: BCom Qualification or Equivalent: A BCom degree or similar qualification is required.Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate administration with comparable responsibilities.Preferred Experience: Ideal candidates will have experience working with the Kerridge system.Ability to coach team members to achieve set objectives.Capable of understanding and interpreting goals and vision, and effectively communicating and implementing strategies with measurable improvements.Strong organizational, administrative, group dynamics facilitation, and interpersonal skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities; must be relatable, well-accepted by others, and a team player.Code 8 driver's licence
