Nail Technician - Lynnwood Lane

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an established Nail Technician for their salon in Lynnwood lane. You will be responsible for building your very own clientele base and creating awareness of the various nail treatments that Dis-Chem has to offer.Minimum Requirements:Essential:Grade 12 / Matric or Senior CertificateNail Technician Certificate (gel and acrylic)At least 2 years' technical experience in a professional beauty/nail salon environmentWilling and able to work retail hoursJob Description:Report on customer compliments and complaintsConduct monthly promotionsEnsure monthly treatment and product targets are metAttend training to keep abreast of new products and treatment techniquesEnsure new customers complete customer cardsComplete and submit accurate monthly reportsAdhere to Dis-Chem's treatment and service payment proceduresManage stock levels according to Dis-Chem procedures – report on short, damaged and expired stockEnsure effective and accurate merchandising or promotionsProvide customers with a high standard of nail care and nail painting techniquesCompetencies:Essential:Possess general knowledge of nail technology (correct product application techniques) and nail contra-indications for nail treatmentsStrong command of the English languageBe a team player, have good customer relationsTrustworthy and honestBe deadline and target driven – daily treatment planning and administration and meet monthly treatment targetsAdvantageous:BilingualSpecial conditions of employment:Willing and able to work retail hoursFit and able to perform proper manicures and pedicuresValid driver's license and own reliable transport, or reside in close proximity to the storeSouth African citizenClear credit and criminal recordsRemuneration and benefits:Market-related salary + commissionMedical aidProvident fundStaff accountONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
