Primary Responsibilities Include: Perform standard and advanced manicure and pedicure treatments, including nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, massage, and application of nail polish or gel polish.Provide specialized treatments such as paraffin wax applications, nail art, and luxurious spa pedicures and manicures.Offer recommendations for at-home nail care and product use based on client needs.Conduct thorough client consultations to determine nail care needs, preferences, and any concerns.Customize treatments to meet individual client expectations, ensuring satisfaction with both the service and the results.Maintain a professional demeanour, providing high levels of customer service while addressing any issues or concerns promptly.Identify signs of nail or skin conditions and advise clients on the appropriate course of treatment.Maintain a deep understanding of current nail care trends and techniques to stay relevant in the luxury spa market.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spa products and services, offering recommendations for enhancing treatments.Promote retail nail care products to clients as appropriate, supporting overall sales goals.Maintain inventory of nail care products and supplies, notifying management of the need for replenishment.Work collaboratively with other spa staff to maintain a calm, clean, and professional spa environment.To assist in the absence of a spa therapist from time to time delivering variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner.What You Bring: Ability to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, communicate effectively with guests, and provide personalized attention to meet their individual needs and preferencesStrong understanding of health and safety regulations and protocols related to spa servicesHigh level of professionalism and ethics; ability to adhere to professional standards, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate ethical conduct in interactions with guests.Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing nail care services, preferably within a luxury spa or high-end salon environment.Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manicure and pedicure techniques, including but not limited to, gel nails, poly gel, and nail art.What We Offer: At Mount Nelson, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture built on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with our colleagues and guests.
