Mutuel Clerk (Seasonal)

Responsibilities Include: Write, verify, and make payments on tickets in accordance with department policy and procedures Ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations.
Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift Responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary.
Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests Provide information and assistance to customers in a friendly, courteous manner Offer information on activities, etc., and direct guests for further information as necessary.
Performs all duties as assigned.
What it Takes: High School Diploma or equivalency required Minimum 1 year of large volume cash handling experience required Previous guest service experience in a similar race or gaming environment preferred Must be able to stand and move swiftly throughout property Varied shifts, including weekends and holidays required
