To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.Permanent - 37 hours per week (part time or job share and development post will be considered).An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to lead, develop and operationally manage a dynamic, busy MSK Physiotherapy team and service across Inverness and Ross-shire areas. You will have responsibility for the continued development of the service and managing the MSK Physio Staff, however you will be supported within this role. This role will be supported operationally and professionally by local district manager(s) and North Highland Physiotherapy professional lead and form part of peer network of other physiotherapy NHSH leaders.Upon commencing this role, you will be provided the opportunity to have coaching and leadership mentoring to expand your own existing leadership skills, alongside regular support from physiotherapy professional lead and other physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy colleagues. You will also be expected to take a lead on assuring education, development and supervision arrangements are in place for physiotherapy staff, students and may also include other disciplines or professions in the field of MSK.You will have a significant role in progressing the Inverness MSK service and will work strategically from early intervention through to discharge and signposting to assure safe, quality MSK care within the MSK team as part of NHSH strategy 2024-2027. You will also work closely with other MSK services in NHS Highland, secondary and primary care leads such as: FCP, Ortho APP leads, chronic pain, liaising with other allied health professionals, nursing, and medical staff to deliver developments and service improvements within MSK as part of wider strategic developments and be part of MSK NHSH clinical subgroup.You will be an experienced MSK Physiotherapist with advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK conditions and the job role will be split approximately 60% MSK clinical and 40% management and leadership time, depending on needs of service.
