This position reports to the Marketplace Manager of Mr D. Purpose of Role Assist the marketplace merchandising team in effectively executing the Mr D merchandising strategy. Analyse merchandising performance, identify opportunities and provide feedback to the marketplace team.
Your responsibilities will include: Develop an understanding of what drives orders and work with the marketplace and marketing teams to craft merchandising and promotions accordingly. Collaborate with the team to ensure all of our merchandising and promotional elements are accurately and timeously briefed, designed and approved. Report on the performance of merchandising and promotional activities. Coordinate with the Mr D sales team to facilitate and execute specific promotions and merchandising. Identify shortcomings in merchandising and promotional supply across the various Mr D regions. Set up, execute & monitor restaurant promotions in the Mr D promotion system. Manage partner collections and in-app merchandising using the Mr D system tools. Collaborate with the data management team to execute menu specials. Assist with the administration of promotional and merchandising activities and liaise with suppliers and agencies where necessary. Skills & Attributes required: Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Experience managing a cross functional team. Ability to present ideas succinctly, in writing and verbally. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and follow-through. A keen interest in and understanding of data and its ability to inform strategies and plans. A strong working knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification beneficial. Minimum 2-3 years work experience in an Ecommerce Marketplace Environment/Online B2B.
