- Craft original copy for advertisements, social networks, and other marketing materials.
- Develop creative concepts into clear and Impactful content plans.
- Conduct industry-related research to identify gaps and generate fresh content ideas.
- Stay up-to-date with trends to create relevant and timely copy.Collaboration with Marketing and Design Teams
- Work closely with marketing to ensure copy aligns with strategic goals.
- Partner with design teams to complement text with visual aids.Editing and Proofreading
- Review and refine content generated by team members
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-crafted, and optimized for visibility. Attributes required: Creative: Adapt at translating brand concepts into rich, engaging copy.Detail-oriented: Vigilant in proofreading, ensuring content is flawless.Versatile: Comfortable writing for a wide array of formats and platforms.Strategic Thinker: Understands the intersection of content and business growth.Top of the class written communication and creative copywriting skillsRazor-sharp and lightning-quick proof-reading accuracy with an obsessive eye for detailAbility to write different types of copy consistently depending on its purposeCapability to present creative ideas confidently and succinctly (written & verbal)A grounding in Marketing and Communication principlesHighly organized and efficient, can work towards and meet tight deadlinesCreatively-minded with an ability to craft numerous campaigns across multiple departmentsResults-oriented with a can-do attitudeHigh energy with a thirst for knowledge and willingness to learnA passion for delivering outstanding customer experiencesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience in writing for online, blogging & social mediaExperience in creating content that builds memorable brandsCreative and open mindedHighly organized and efficient, whilst being flexible and versatileAn enthusiasm for, and an understanding of e-commerceTech savvy with an inquisitive mindThe appetite for being involved in a startup environmentConfident, with very strong interpersonal & communication skills and a proven ability to build productive relationships quicklyCompetent in managing content calendars and overseeing content teams.Familiar with SEO best practices and content optimization.Strong communication and time management skills. Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years of industry experience with a robust portfolio.Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Copywriting, Branding, Marketing or related field.
