"Serving Society with Superior Quality" has been our mission since Shojiro Ishibashi founded Bridgestone in 1931 and we look for individuals who share our passion to fulfill this mission.Job PurposeTo co-ordinate and execute all mechanical engineering activities in the area of responsibility at the Brits Manufacturing Plant.Main ResponsibilitiesReduce Machine DowntimeUnderstanding & applying the principles of Tool, Jig & Die MakingConduct quality control checks to ensure moulds and containers meet specifications and tolerancesOperate manual machinery such as lathes, milling machines, grinders and drilling equipmentDaily walkthrough inspections - Troubleshoot issues with moulds and Containers to ensure production needs are met.Make running adjustmentsNote items for repair - Makes decisions and judgements about proper course of action for repairs and maintenance.Container Installations and Press setupBladder ChangesMould/Container/Bladder Ring Maintenance - Ensure moulds and containers is serviced and set up to the correct specification, available for production with all the necessary equipment and fittings in line with planning requirements.Mould Cleanings - Demonstrates good work planning practices to do jobs in a very timely, efficient and safe manner.Admin: Bladder counts and record keeping on a daily basis.
