Motor Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Qualified Mechanic (Petrol & Diesel) for their branch in Isando.
A valid driver's license and own transport is essential, and the candidate must be presentable. The candidate must have extensive experience working on different makes of cars. Perform 101 checks and repairs on all vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame, with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities:

Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analysers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
Plan work procedures using charts, technical manuals, and experience.
Fit all parts to the required level of expertise to the vehicle, understanding that quality control is built into the repair process.
Discuss delays with the workshop controller.
Comply with parts processes to only order parts as per job cards.
Follow up on parts shortages and discrepancies not on job card.
Identify and accurately track all back-order parts, keeping information relevant.
Attend departmental meetings to ensure effective production and communication.
Know, understand, and perform all duties of all mechanical/technician roles.
Observe and follow all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools.

Remuneration will be based on experience.

Pay: R10000,00 - R15000,00 per month.
