Motor Claims Manager

Job ResponsibilitiesManage the motor claims portfolio and team within the Company's Claims Department.Oversee motor own damage and third-party liability, manage supplier procurement, and identify motor risk trends.Report motor claims costs and trends to the Claims Manager.Develop, monitor, and report on claims spend strategies.Optimize claims processes for effective administration.Manage and report on service provider performance.Contribute to overall Claims Department management.Provide technical support to the motor claims team.Handle client and broker complaints professionally.Ensure staff meet responsibilities through supervision.Maintain professional relationships with clients and brokers.Job RequirementsMatric/Grade 12.Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (essential).Full qualification in Short-term Insurance (a plus).Experience in management and business.Knowledge of statutory and legislative requirements, including the Short-term Insurance Act, FAIS, and Fit and Proper standards (advantageous).Skilled in analysis, judgment, problem-solving, collaboration, negotiation, business logic, and influencing.Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel (super user), and Word.Experienced with insurance systems.Strong technical knowledge of insurance products, endorsements, rates, SASRIA, etc., relevant to the offered insurance type.Excellent presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with management at all levels.Desired SkillsInsuranceClaimsShort-term Insurance
