Job Title: Mortgage ParaplannerReports To: Mortgage Adviser / Operations ManagerSalary: R25 000Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Paraplanner to support our Mortgage Advisers by managing the end-to-end mortgage application process. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and compliant mortgage transactions, from client onboarding to application submission and follow-up. Your ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy and communication will be key to your success.Key Responsibilities: Client Onboarding: Set up clients in the company's CRM, ensuring all information is accurately recorded. Document Verification: Review and validate client documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. AML Compliance: Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks in line with company policies. Client Communication: Send out regulatory emails, key facts, and other relevant communications, ensuring clients are well-informed throughout the process. Research and Analysis: Perform detailed research tailored to individual client needs and compile findings into reports for mortgage advisers. Lender Liaison: Communicate directly with lenders, especially in cases involving complex criteria. Mortgage Applications: Complete mortgage agreements in principle and full applications with a high level of accuracy. Client Follow-Up: Proactively contact clients via phone (preferred) or email to gather any missing information needed for applications. Workload Management: Ensure that the mortgage adviser's workload, cases, and applications are compliant and up-to-date in the CRM. Insurance Preparation: Prepare quotes and research for home insurance and accident, sickness, and unemployment (ASU) insurance. Task Management: Prioritize and complete daily tasks, ensuring all actions are documented and followed up as needed. Customer Service: Assist in the customer journey, particularly in increasing protection sales penetration, and provide professional and approachable customer support. Target Support: Assist mortgage advisers in achieving their set targets and objectives. Team Assistance: Provide additional support to mortgage administrators when required. Required Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of the mortgage sales process and post-administration procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Experience with CRM systems and a good understanding of compliance requirements. Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
