Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:Develop and maintain finance reporting processes, focusing on key metrics for investments, life and general insurance products.Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather and document reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with IFRS 17 and other relevant accounting standards.Assist in the finance transformation initiatives, modernising finance data, and reporting processes.Analyse financial data to identify trends and insights.Provide input to the requirements specification and design new finance reporting systems.The successful candidate must:Hold a degree, with strong preference for a post graduate qualification.Have 5 years or more relevant experience in the Insurance industry.Qualification Requirements:Hold a degree, with strong preference for a post graduate qualification.Experience Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance reporting within the insurance industry.Strong understanding of life and general insurance products.Proven experience with IFRS 17 and other relevant accounting standards.Experience in business systems implementation initiatives.Technical Requirements:Proficiency in finance reporting tools and software.Strong data analysis skills and experience with data visualization tools.Familiarity with finance reporting systems and their implementation.Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.Additionally, the following would be advantageous:Experience with finance transformation programmes.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the insurance sector.Qualification or experience in project management or a PMP / Prince 2 qualification.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.The ideal Monocle Consultant also:Has an enquiring mind and is eager to learn and improve their professional skillset.Is able to work in a dynamic environment where one day never looks like another.Is enthusiastic in their approach to their work.Regards themselves as a high performer.Is an excellent communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Works well under pressure to meet client objectives.Is sociable and enjoys interacting with others, both at work and at social events.
