Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Administrative Duties: Check and handle all emails, daily correspondence and telephonic enquiries Receive telephone calls from Clients to transact on their account and record in daily book Ensure all transaction received before 11am are processed the same day Liaise with clients re general enquires, i.e.
requests for balances or printouts, etc.
Forward requested information and / or action previously documents instructions to client via email, whatsapp etc.
Meet with clients as required Assist clients with the completion of documents as necessary, e.g.
withdrawal forms Scanning, linked and Filing of documents Assist with current and/or ongoing projects Record Keeping Action ad hoc requests Elite – CCM System / One-Drive Capture client information Scan and link documents to clients' records, i.e.
mandates, FICA, transactions, etc.
Link email correspondence Link recorded telephone calls 2.
FICA / Mandates Check and ensure all FICA and relevant documents are in place for each client Assist clients with the completion of mandates and queries as necessary Ensure that the account mandates and FICA are in place for clients before opening new accounts.
Mandates and FICA documents needs to be signed off by the Manager before new accounts are opened.
All mandates are to be signed off by Key Individual Contact clients telephonically or via email if information is insufficient or documents are not compliant Forward mandates and documents to third parties (other financial institutions) as required with client's permission 3.
Investec CCM and Nedbank Corporate Saver Systems Execute all instructions received via email, telephone or direct Open new client accounts Update client profiles with updated information Transact and Monitor the Nedbank Corporate Saver System and Investec CCM Make and Schedule payments Print and compile daily transaction schedules and documents for partner sign off 4.
Foreign deposits/withdrawals and preparation of BOP forms Prepare BOP reporting for outgoing and incoming foreign exchange as required Liaise with IPEX, Nedbank and Investec to finalise deals Record transactions and indicate where the client is to be charged 5.
Daily, Weekly and Mobnthly Procedures Print Audit Trails Do daily report recons Balance Money Market system to reports and working papers Send required reports to client Ideal Candidate: You should: Have Matric (essential) 2+ years experience in banking background (advantageous) Be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Have good communication and organisational skills Be able to work as part of a highly successful team Be able to prioritise work Be accurate and confident in your work Be able to handle pressure Be self motivated Take initiative Please note: You must be based in Cape Town and legally allowed to work in South Africa.
