Job Description:
Manages and oversees the running of payrolls and subsequent processing activities for Mondi South Africa (Pty) Limited and its subsidiaries and ensuring that the correct systems environment is in place.

Job Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally with other support teams to automate and simplify payroll systems and processes
Manage correct payroll support systems
Perform various recons and reporting to other business units
Provide HR Support and liaison
Perform annual tasks (COID returns; tax certificates; spreadsheets for general ledger reconciliations)
Manage and oversee post-payroll functions
Ensure effective people management
Manage and oversee payroll and time functions

Job Requirements:

Understanding of relevant tax legislation and statutory payroll requirements
A relevant B Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification (NQF 7)
At least 3 years experience of payroll management in a large business or corporate environment
Code 08 / EB license
Well-versed in SAP Payroll module
Matric | Grade 12
