Role Overview As the Mining Solutions Manager , based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, you will drive the adoption of Micromine's Alastri Product by identifying and engaging potential customers, fostering strong relationships, and converting leads into successful sales.
Reporting to the Regional Manager (Africa, Middle East, & Europe) , you will oversee the entire sales process and collaborate with the Service team to ensure seamless product delivery and client training.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies for prospecting and acquiring new customers.
Qualify prospects to prioritize time and resources effectively.
Manage the full sales process, including: Product demonstrations.
Objection handling.
Closing deals.
Ensure smooth product implementation and training through coordination with the Service team.
Represent Micromine at marketing events, such as trade shows and product launches.
Gather and share market insights with the Strategy and Technology teams.
About You You are a mining engineering professional with a strong foundation in open pit mine planning and scheduling.
Your experience in business development or consultancy demonstrates your ability to engage clients, identify their needs, and deliver solutions.
Requirements Qualifications and Skills: A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
Expertise in open pit mine planning and scheduling .
Experience in business development or consultancy roles.
Familiarity with mining software (preferred but not required).
