It is an exciting time for Globe 24-7 as we continue to expand into our next phase of growth.The RoleWe have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven and dynamic Mining Recruitment Consultant to play a vital role in supporting our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) operations in Southern Africa.
This is a site-based position, requiring a FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) arrangement, with on-site rotations of up to 5 weeks at a time.You will support the Project Manager – RPO in various capacities, including end-to-end recruitment life cycle and providing proactive and effective candidate sourcing working within a multidisciplinary team.We are seeking a personable individual that understands recruitment, mining, or associated industries, that will build and maintain a network of candidates through proactive research, targeted content and messaging, and ongoing relationship management, supporting in the delivery of high-quality shortlists.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients and candidates to understand their hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture.Source potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and networking events.Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, including interviews, skills evaluations, and reference checks, to determine their suitability for specific roles.Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing them with guidance, support, and feedback throughout the recruitment process.Present qualified candidates to clients, highlighting their skills, experience, and cultural fit.Coordinate and schedule interviews between clients and candidates, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a smooth recruitment process.Act as a liaison between clients and candidates, managing expectations and negotiating job offers.Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure successful onboarding and integration of candidates into their new roles.Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients and candidates.Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.RequirementsExcellent understanding and experience in the mining industry, oil and gas industry, or related industries is highly desirable.Willingness and ability to work on-site for up to 5 weeks at a time in a FIFO arrangement.A strong understanding of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques.Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates.Excellent work ethic, organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and perform under pressure.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.Proficiency in using recruitment software and other relevant tools.A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets and driving success.The RewardsWe offer competitive remuneration with a generous commission structure.We are committed and focused on an inclusive and great culture where the wellbeing of our employees and having fun is a priority.Strong flow of international and national work due to our global presence.Successful record of delivery and RPO, HR Consulting, and REM Benchmarking projects.Market leading approach to flexible work practices; we work on a flexible hybrid model, as a global Company, with work from home options and flexible hours.Named as one of Australia's top 101 Employers for Women in 2023.Work for a WORK180 endorsed employer for women.
