Mining & Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Conduct geological assessments to evaluate site conditions and potential risks.Develop and implement mining strategies that prioritize safety and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of geotechnical considerations in mining operations.Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.Monitor mining operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Identify opportunities for process improvements and sustainability initiatives. Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in mining and geotechnical engineering, with at least 5 years in the field.Strong knowledge of geological assessment, mining processes, and geotechnical principles.Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, GeoStudio, or similar tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.A proactive approach to safety and risk management in mining operations.
