Mining Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Mining Engineer at Sound Mining in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area.
The Mining Engineer will be responsible for mine planning, open pit and underground design and scheduling, and applying mining engineering principles.
The role involves working closely with teams to ensure efficient and sustainable mining practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree/ diploma in Mining Engineering or related field Proficient in mine design software (Datamine or Deswik) Mine Planning Experience (Essential) Mining Engineering expertise Strong knowledge of open pit mining & underground operations Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
