Mine Maintenance Plant Engineer (GCC Mines) – Thabazimbi Salary: Rneg + Ben

Qualifications Required: Diploma or degree in the engineering field MDP or equivalent Formal training in planned maintenance Legal accountability with a 2.13.1 legal appointment in terms of the MHSA Job Description: Manage the Engineering department and carry the legal responsibility in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act. Experience on process plant or platinum concentrator. Equipment maintenance systems: Pumps, pipe systems for slurry and clear water Bulk materials handling (conveyor belts and associated systems) Classification equipment (screening, DMS drum, cyclones) Comminution equipment (crushing, milling) Must work overtime and attend to breakdowns. Must reside in close proximity to the operations (Thabazimbi area). Implement planned maintenance system. Management of critical spares inventory. Performance assessment of foremen and artisans. The position will report directly to the plant manager. Manage capital projects.
