How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of maintenance on equipment installed at Air Liquide Filling Facilities, road tankers, hospitals, and customer installations. Responsibilities include:
Refurbishment of pumps and related equipment at the workshop, including management of spare parts.Attending in-house and external training to become proficient in working with bulk gas delivery systems serviced by Air Liquide.Accurate population of job cards for all maintenance.Perform periodic standby duties, drive and perform maintenance at customer sites, delivery and collection of spare parts from suppliers.Maintenance of cryogenic pumps at AL premises and customers.Maintenance of road tankers.Maintenance of Filling Facilities in Alrode, Highveld, Pretoria, and Bloemfontein.New electrical installations and maintenance of existing electrical installations in Air Liquide facilities, road tankers, and customer installations.Adherence to SANS 10142 and working knowledge of explosive environments.Perform maintenance and breakdown work on road tankers, onsite installations, and bulk installations of an electrical and mechanical nature.Preventative and corrective maintenance relating to control panels, pump motors, and instrumentation such as temperature controls and pressure transducers on road tankers, as well as IM site electrical equipment.Fault finding on various types of equipment, especially pumps and compressors.Repairs to pumps at AL premises and customer installations, both local and out of town.Perform installation work (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical) on projects as required.Communicating problems/irregularities to the manager.Working additional hours and standby as required.Recording information and record-keeping as required (job cards, record books, etc.).Adhere to the QA Procedures as laid out in the Quality Policy of Air Liquide & ISO 9001:2000 as well as additional IMS requirements.Periodic inspections of the tankers to proactively fix issues.Control of spare parts, maintenance of small tools, safe work practices, pump/plant/tanker maintenance, overtime control, quality control, customer satisfaction, reliability.Execution of standby at Air Liquide Filling Facilities, road tankers, hospitals, and customer installations.Are you a MATCH?Background / Experience Required:
