Millwright Technician

Purpose

We are looking for a strong Maintenance Millwright with an understanding of Washroom Machinery.

Critical Results

Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of washroom and other machinery in and around the factory.
Responsible for attending to breakdowns of machinery in and around the factory.
Will perform daily inspection of the plant.
General housekeeping in and around the machinery, the workshop, and the factory.

Requirements

N2-N3 Engineering qualification is a must.
Relevant Trade Test/Red Seal Certificate is a must.
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science (passed) as a subject will be advantageous.
A degree/BTech in Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification.
1 - 3 years' previous experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
Computer literacy (MS Office) and Outlook.
Have a 'can-do' attitude.
Great ability to manage pressure and stress.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Good communicator (verbal/non-verbal) skills.
Customer focus.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
Exceptional problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
Driven, confident, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
Be hands-on and willing to go the extra mile at all times.
Must be able to work overtime, public holidays, and weekends if required.
Must be available for callouts when needed.

Ability to work under challenging conditions.
Must have basic knowledge of Health & Safety Rules.
Knowledge of various hand and workshop tools is an advantage.
Must not have a fear of heights or confined spaces.
Must have good fitness levels and mobility.
