RPO's client is looking for a Millwright to join their team. The purpose of the position is to install and maintain machinery to ensure maximum uptime. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager.Responsibilities:Normal and preventative maintenance of hydraulic systems (presses, formers, pultrusion, and injection moulding)Normal and preventative maintenance of electrical systems (distribution panels, control panels, heating and cooling systems, and electrical circuitry)Normal and preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment (gearboxes, pumps, chain drives, couplings, and alignment)Fault finding and breakdown/emergency repairs (electrical and mechanical)Basic welding and boilermakingTechnical assistance to production and maintenance teamsParticipation in continuous improvementImplementation of planned maintenance and countermeasuresAssistance with machine changeover and start-ups when requiredRequirements:Trade tested certificate as a qualified MillwrightElectrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsIn-depth knowledge of PLC and PLC programming on Delta and Mitsubishi systemsSound knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical panels, and PLCsFault-finding determination skillsProblem-solving abilityAbility to read drawingsCommunication and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a team or independentlyAbility to work under pressurePrepared to work overtime and standby whenever requiredKnowledge of hydraulic and electrical systemsBasic welding and boilermakingMinimum 5 years' applicable experience as a qualified MillwrightPLC and VSD experience will be advantageousInduction furnace experience will be advantageousBenefits:Salary: negotiableContact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experienceApply for this role today, contact Llizelle Jansen at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn
