Job Description:Perform regular preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performanceDiagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; perform repairs to restore functionalityConduct major repairs or rebuilds of machines and equipment as needed, including disassembly, reconditioning, and reinstallationFollow safety protocols and regulations (such as OSHA or ISO) to ensure a safe work environmentKeep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and modificationsEnsure that critical spare parts are available and in stock to avoid delays in repairsSkills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright working with packaging machinesStrong electrical and pneumatic fault-finding skillsExcellent interpretation of diagrams and schematicsIn-depth understanding of packaging machines (e.g. liquid fillers, cappers, unscramblers, packers)Excellent communication skills and a commitment to following instructions and proceduresQualification:Red Seal Trade Certificate: MillwrightValid drivers licenseOnly South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
