Purpose Of The RoleResponsible for maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of stationary industrial machinery, as well as mechanical equipment in factories, production plants and recreational facilities.To maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures.Key Role ResponsibilitiesPlant Maintenance to sustain a Safe Plant Environment according to all ISO and SHEQ Systems.Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.Continuous improvement on Machinery for Safe and optimum productionOperate Forklifts and rigging equipment to pick and place machinery and parts, fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach and align motors, connect coupling and belts.Perform predictive Maintenance e.g., vibrational analysis, service and repair pneumatic equipment, and may do some welding/fabrication during breakdowns.Managing the layout/placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime.Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts.Conduct or oversee commissioning tests according to specifications.Safely perform preventative maintenance at planned intervals and repairs of any damages or faults found.Attend to breakdowns on machines as soon as possible.Responsible for shutdown work and electrical maintenance on machinesWilling to work overtime when necessary
