Key Responsibilities:Installation and Setup:Install and align machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprints.Perform initial setup, including calibration and testing of new machines and equipment.Ensure proper installation of mechanical systems to support safe and efficient operations.Maintenance and Repair:Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment including pumps, conveyors, motors, and HVAC systems.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures, including performing disassembly, repair, and reassembly of components.Replace or repair defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.Technical Support:Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other maintenance personnel.Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to perform maintenance and repairs.Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Perform lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe operation during maintenance activities.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing machinery performance and reliability.Participate in training programs and keep current with technological advancements and industry best practices.Emergency Response:Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations to minimize production downtime.Coordinate with other maintenance team members to address urgent issues and implement effective solutions.Qualifications:Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.Millwright Trade Certification or equivalent qualification.Additional technical training or coursework in mechanical systems and machinery is advantageous.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Millwright, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment.Proven experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Skills:Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to machinery and equipment.Personal Attributes:Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
