IntroductionAn Agritalent client, a leading agribusiness, seeks a Millwright in its production environment.The successful candidate will be a qualified Artisan to install, maintain, test and commission electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems at the plant, as well as work on electrical transmission and distribution equipment and carry out preventative maintenance.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReduce breakdowns and downtimes periods in the relevant business unit to limit unnecessary costsInstall, maintain, repair and commission electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems at the plant, as well as work on electrical transmission and distribution equipmentReport machine failure and breakdowns to management, record it on the daily log sheet and ensure job cards are filled in correctly and signed off by the relevant managerContinuously improve on all equipment and installation measuresEnsure preventative scheduled maintenance is done as scheduled and machinery functions optimally on a continuous basisComply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements as per Company standards and proceduresContinuously do fault finding and problem solving on electrical equipmentLiaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure the quality of services and productsComplete all compulsory training interventionsMentor employees to follow standard practices and processes to ensure quality services and less downtime in the relevant business unitDesired Experience & QualificationRequirementsGrade 12/NQF4Strong mechanical and electrical experience in both fields is essentialCode B driver's licenseValid Trade Certificate: Millwright is essentialClear Criminal Record
