Job Description:Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure production efficiency targets are metIdentify and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults in machineryAssemble, move, set up, and dismantle tools and machinery as neededPerform maintenance tasks in compliance with the equipment suppliers safety guidelinesMonitor equipment inventory and coordinate orders with the StoremanRespond to breakdowns and carry out maintenance on plant machinery promptlyMaximize plant uptime by proactively addressing potential issuesKeep detailed logs and reports of daily activities and maintenance workAssess and monitor hazardous conditions on-site to ensure safetyReport any accidents or incidents to the Maintenance Manager immediatelyAlways promote and adhere to safe working practicesMaintain excellent housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe work environment Skills & Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a Millwright and/or ElectricianProficient in PLC systemsExperience in the Plastic Industry and FMCG is advantageousCapable of working independently with minimal supervisionStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform hands-on mechanical workExcellent timekeeping skillsWillingness to be on standby when required Minimum requirementsMillwright or Electrician Trade TestStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform hands-on mechanical work Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
