Location: Cape Town Main objective:We are seeking a capable Production Supervisor to oversee the workflow at our facility. This role encompasses more than just supervision; it entails coaching, issue resolution, and acting as a vital link between subordinates and upper management. The ideal candidate will guide an train employees, possess in-depth knowledge of relevant processes, and be results-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinatesOrganize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasksMonitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coachingReceive complaints and resolve problemsMaintain timekeeping and personnel recordsPass on information from upper management to employees and vice versaPrepare and submit performance reportsDecide on reward and promotion based on performanceEnsure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arisesRequired KnowledgeProven experience as supervisor or relevant roleFamiliarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the fieldAbility to learn a variety of job descriptions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsGood knowledge of MS OfficeHigh school diploma Diploma/Certificate in first-line management or related field will be considered an advantageComputer literacy (Syspro) will be considered an advantageOrder-to-Delivery CycleHealth & Safety RegulationsFood Safety RegulationsRequired Prior Learning / Experience:Senior Certificate / National CertificateAt least 3 years' similar experience in a FMCG environment with increasing levels of responsibilityPerson Profile, Skills, and Attitude:Team playerPhysically fitProactive and self- motivatedReliableProblem solvingMust be will to work shifts per the operational requirements of the businessValid driver's licenseOwn transportPlease send your application and CV to ****** by 02 May 2024 to be considered for this position.
