COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Our client is a stainless-steel manufacturer based in Centurion and they are looking for a qualified Mill Operator to join their team as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The main purpose of this position is to produce high-quality stainless-steel tubes by means of operating a Tube Mill.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating similar equipment (Tube Mill) Control product quality by monitoring, measuring and recording measured data on a software program Make rebuilds and tooling changes for various Diameters Ensure optimal setup of NDT Testing equipment Do planned as well as TPM Maintenance Perform duties in a safe manner by complying and adhering to health and safety regulations as well as following SOP and SWI Ensure that equipment and machinery is maintained repaired in accordance with maintenance and procedures Making parts that conform to customer requirements by following procedures related to operations and quality EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Matric or equivalent BTech qualification and/or qualified Fitter or in the process of qualifying towards the respective qualification EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment operating similar equipment (Tube Mill) Experience on a supervisory level within a manufacturing environment Computer literate A Knowledge in Stainless steel and welding of stainless steel will be an advantage Strong in Mathematics Abel to read and write in English Must be a good team player Must be able to do accurate measurements with any measuring equipment Knowledge in tube manufacturing Skills and Knowledge in measuring equipment Must have good interpersonal skills Good communication skills Must be assertive Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, without direct supervision Time management The ability and desire to learn and progress Strong sense of Responsibility and self-motivation TO APPLY FOR THE POSITION, PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW: https://www.careers-page.com/the-globevest-group-2/job/QWV9678W
