Dentsu Creative Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Digital Designer to join our dynamic team.
This role requires a creative individual with a passion for producing world-class digital and social design across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating digital assets, animations, and interactive social content, along with a proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse projects.
Job Description: Key responsibilities: Creative Development & Conceptualization Collaborate with stakeholders to define the design brief or establish design concepts that meet the objectives of multi-platform approaches.Create wireframes, storyboards, and creative mood boards to bring ideas to life and ensure alignment with project goals.Research and develop material to support new design concepts, including working drawings and layouts to evaluate and present ideas effectively.Digital Design Execution Produce world-class creative digital assets, including:Social media contentStoryboardNewslettersFashion and food shootsWebsite layoutsWeb BannersAnimations and video overlaysDevelop and refine multi-format animated sequences such as GIFs, MP4s, and banners.Create original artwork for digital image processing and animation, contributing to brand storytelling through visually engaging content.Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the Digital Art Director, digital Editor and Multimedia team on shoots for various digital mediums and social media aspect ratios.Contribute to and evolve existing design styles to maintain brand consistency across projects.Innovation & Industry Awareness Stay ahead of industry design trends, developments, and technological advancements, interpreting their impact on services from a design perspective.Share insights, design concepts, and campaign ideas with team members and other divisional design teams.Asset Management Repurpose existing ATL elements, templates, and assets as required by design changes or campaign needs.Prepare and organize media assets to support new design concepts and create working prototypes.Required skills:
? University-level education in digital design or equivalent work experience.
? At least 3-5 years' experience working in a design studio or creative agency.
? Excellent Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills.
? An understanding of social media and various video file types.
? Ability to interpret brand guidelines & design principles for online media.
? Experience working on campaign photo and video shoots.
? Excellent communication skills and enjoys working within teams across accounts.
Advantageous:
? Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and video editing best practices.
? Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or other UI applications.
? Presentation design within Keynote and PowerPoint.
? CMS Front-end web experience and strong understanding of WordPress.
