Key Responsibilities:
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain critical business infrastructures, including networks and systems, ensuring their optimal performance.
• Client Interaction: Conduct on-site visits, facilitate custom server onboarding, and drive the implementation of the Microsoft Cloud Stack.
• Technical Support: Provide robust technical support for core infrastructure issues, encompassing servers, storage, backup, operating systems, applications, networks, and cloud services.
• Incident Resolution: Handle 2nd and 3rd line support calls, resolving escalated tickets promptly for both clients and team members.
• Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently, both remotely and on-site.
• Afterhours Support: Offer afterhours assistance to clients and senior engineers as required.
• System Configuration: Manage core infrastructures, user devices, networking services, automation, and monitoring tools.
• Security Management: Ensure secure setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and passwords following best practices.
• Project Delivery: Lead technical projects, such as roll-outs and migrations, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Proactive Management: Administer, monitor, and support end-to-end systems within client infrastructures, providing regular reports.
• Audits and Recovery: Perform server and security audits, system backups, and recovery processes in line with best practices and disaster recovery plans.
• Service Level Agreements: Implement and complete monthly maintenance Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by the 15th of each month.
• Vendor Collaboration: Work with third-party vendors and help desks to ensure seamless integration and support services.
• Client Communication: Maintain open communication with clients regarding project status, support requests, and potential cost overruns.
• Risk Management: Mitigate technology risks by implementing proper controls and IT governance.
• Policy Development: Establish guidelines and procedures for managing client infrastructures and troubleshooting high-level issues.
• Documentation: Keep key documents updated daily, including technical documentation and backup reviews.
• License Compliance: Ensure continuous compliance with licensing requirements.
• Ticket Management: Progress and clear assigned tickets within SLA commitments, escalating non-resolvable issues as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team and sales, providing updates on requests and proposals.
• Billable Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual billable targets, ensuring accountability for billable hours.
• Report Submission: Ensure timely submission of client and internal reports.
Essential Requirements:
• Azure Experience: Minimum 2 years.
• Firewall Experience: At least 3 years with FortiGate or similar (setup, troubleshooting, maintenance).
• Server Experience: Minimum 3 years (setup, RAID, DNS, Active Directory, recovery).
• Microsoft Office 365: At least 3 years (tenant setup, maintenance, Intune, Defender, Teams calling, SharePoint).
• Driver's License: Required, along with a reliable vehicle for on-site client visits.
Preferred Certifications and Experience:
• Azure Certifications: AZ-104 and AZ-300.
• Linux Certifications: Preferred.
• Fortinet Certifications: Advantageous.
• Linux Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred.
