Our Client is looking for a Microsoft Azure AI Specialist to be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI and machine learning (ML) solutions using the Azure platform. The role requires a deep understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and AI-related data platforms. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI applications, optimize cloud performance, and provide actionable insights from data-driven solutions.What you'll do:Solution Design and Architecture:Design and architect AI/ML solutions using Azure services (Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Bot Services, etc.).Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide strategic insights, and create AI-driven solutions that align with business objectives.Model Development Deployment:Build, train, and deploy machine learning models on Azure.Use Azure tools for data wrangling, preprocessing, and model evaluation.Ensure that AI models are scalable and optimized for performance in production environments.Azure AI Services Integration:Integrate Azure AI services (e.g., Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Speech APIs) into applications to deliver intelligent experiences.Customize Cognitive Services to meet specific business needs.Data Management:Work with data engineers and data scientists to ensure the proper setup of data pipelines and Azure Data Lake for AI model training.Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for AI workloads.Cloud Optimization Security:Ensure the AI solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective within the Azure cloud environment.Apply cloud security principles, data privacy laws, and best practices when working with sensitive data.Collaboration Stakeholder Management:Partner with development teams, data scientists, product managers, and business leaders to ensure seamless implementation of AI solutions.Educate stakeholders on the benefits and limitations of AI in business operations.Continuous Learning Innovation:Stay updated on the latest Azure AI and machine learning advancements, incorporating new techniques and services into existing solutions.Participate in hackathons, workshops, and conferences to enhance expertise in AI and Azure.Your expertise:3+ years of experience working with Azure AI/ML services.Experience working in industries like healthcare, finance, or retail where AI can have a significant impact.Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI services (Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, AI Bots, etc.).Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or C#.Strong knowledge of data pipelines, data lakes, and database services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks).Understanding of MLOps and DevOps practices for AI/ML deployment.Cloud and Security Knowledge:Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and AI service integration in Azure.Familiarity with cloud governance, compliance, and security protocols in Azure.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to design end-to-end AI solutions tailored to business challenges.Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills in AI/ML environments.Communication Skills:Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.Experience with creating technical documentation and providing AI solution demos.Qualifications required:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.Azure certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.Azure Certifications (AI-100, AI-102, DP-100, or equivalent).Other information applicable to the opportunity:Permanent PositionLocation: RoodepoortWork Model: Onsite (Monday – Friday)Â
