PURPOSE OF THE JOBTo maintain HR systems as well as to support and participate in SAP System process improvements. To provide HR generalist support to the Business Unit.SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITYIdentify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)Utilise the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ statusPEOPLEFacilitate knowledge transfer and train stakeholders on system functionalityCUSTOMERSEnsure Internal and External customer satisfaction by delivering SLA output effectivelyInteract with stakeholders to identify and pro-actively address operational concerns or issuesParticipate in engagement events and activitiesBUSINESS PROCESSESSAP Business ProcessesNavigate SAP HR environmentExecute all Personnel actions on SAP – Engagements, Transfers, Promotions, TerminationsCreate new positionsMaintain the HR SAP Master DataCompile standardized HR reports per required frequencyUpdate and maintain all HR information systems e.g. SAP, Org Charts, FLOWCompile, collate and report relevant HR statisticsAnalyse and interpret statistics and make appropriate proposals based on findingsSystems ImplementationImplement, maintain, and manage all HR related systemsOptimize systems for maximum functioning and reportingPerform systems audits to ensure accuracy of dataContinuously improve systems for optimal functionalityRecruitment And SelectionDraft recruitment adverts for vacanciesCoordinate the screening and shortlisting processArrange and conduct recruitment interviewsPrepare the Recruitment and Offer fileUpdate the Recruitment TrackerEngagements And OnboardingDraft offers of employmentPrepare employment contracts and supporting documentationMaintain employee salariesImplement and maintain Operator and Artisan modelsAnalyse salaries and propose appropriate remuneration strategiesPrepare increase schedulesPrepare increase and amendment lettersManage temporary labour workforceCoordinate the Induction and Onboarding processBenefits AdministrationAssist with benefits administration (Medical Aid and Provident Funds)Exit ProcessPrepare and conduct exit interviews (C-Band and lower) and report findingsAdminister the employee exit processes and compile exit statisticsGeneralCompile employee turnover statistics (monthly)Compile absenteeism reports for departmentsEnsure monthly payroll input is processed and submitted per payroll timelinesEnsure accurate and on time submission of all month end report requirementsEnsure all HR documents are filed/stored in line with related policyChampion related internal and external HR auditsWork overtime as and when requiredParticipate in HR StandbyAny ad hoc HR tasks and/or projects that may be requiredGROWTHManage continuous improvement through Operational ExcellenceSHAREHOLDER VALUEPrepare Manning Budgets and assist with HR Departmental BudgetMinimum Qualification And ExperienceRelevant HR Higher Certificate (NQF 5) or National Diploma (NQF 6)4 years' relevant HR experienceMinimum of 1 year SAP HR System Administration experienceProficient in MS Office – advanced Excel skillsADVANTAGEOUSSAP certification (advantageous)Behavioural Competencies RequiredSafety AwarenessInitiativeManaging WorkResults OrientationCustomer FocusOperational Problem solving and decision makingWork StandardsInterpersonal RelationshipsCommunicationFlexibilityContributing to Team SuccessBusiness UnderstandingWORKPLACE COMPETENCIESSkillsMicrosoft Office programs with advanced Excel skillsSamancor Chrome Systems (IMS, EBMS, Chromedoc, SAP, Coupa, MES)Project Management SkillsBusiness Communication SkillsHR Policies and proceduresSAP and any other HR electronic systemsKnowledgeDemonstrate and apply an understanding of all applicable HR LegislationsPaterson Grading SystemTargeted SelectionRemuneration principlesRecruitment practices and principlesDisciplinary processes and proceedingsCLOSING DATE: 8 September 2024(Kindly attach copies of relevant qualifications & documents together with CV)IN MAKING THE FINAL SELECTION, CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO ACHIEVING THE SAMANCOR CHROME EMPLOYMENT EQUITY OBJECTIVES
