Metrology Manager

Job Responsibilities: Manage the Budget of the Laboratory and measurement areas of responsibilityEnsuring the required resources and competencies are in placeResponsible for the review and communication of Measurement and Test resultsManage engineering change and product evolutionManage and maintain critical equipment in the CMM roomDevelop and implement metrology strategies to support production and quality assurance.Manage the calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments and systems.Lead and mentor a team of metrology technicians, providing training and support.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all metrology activities.Job Requirements: Tertiary Engineering/Trade QualificationMinimum 3 years experience in internal quality auditing within the automotive environmentMinimum 3 years experience in a quality department in the automotive industryMinimum 3 years within a process engineering disciplineFully trained experienced CMM ProgrammerFully trained and experienced in Offline CMM Programming to alignment requirementsFully understanding of Technical Drawings and GD&TPiweb, GOM and Zeiss experienceFinancial/Budget Concepts
