Metrology Manager

Job Responsibilities: Manage the Budget of the Laboratory and measurement areas of responsibility Ensuring the required resources and competencies are in place Responsible for the review and communication of Measurement and Test results Manage engineering change and product evolution Manage and maintain critical equipment in the CMM room Develop and implement metrology strategies to support production and quality assurance. Manage the calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments and systems. Lead and mentor a team of metrology technicians, providing training and support. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all metrology activities. Job Requirements: Tertiary Engineering/Trade Qualification Minimum 3 years experience in internal quality auditing within the automotive environment Minimum 3 years experience in a quality department in the automotive industry Minimum 3 years within a process engineering discipline Fully trained experienced CMM Programmer Fully trained and experienced in Offline CMM Programming to alignment requirements Fully understanding of Technical Drawings and GD&T Piweb, GOM and Zeiss experience Financial/Budget Concepts
