Metrology And Laboratory Manager

Metrology and Laboratory Manager Location: Berlin – East London

You will be responsible for the Operational Management of the CMM Room, Measurement in-line Systems, Destructive & Non-Destructive and Laboratory areas. Additionally, you will lead, control, and plan the Metrology and Laboratory to meet the organization's objectives and customer requirements.

Key Performance Areas: Manage the Budget of the Laboratory and measurement areas of responsibility. Responsible for the Disciplinary and Technical leadership of the team. Ensure the required resources and competencies are in place. Responsible for the review and communication of Measurement and Test results. Manage engineering change and product evolution. Manage and maintain critical equipment in the CMM room. Requirements: Tertiary Engineering/Trade Qualification. Minimum 3 years experience in internal quality auditing within the automotive environment. Minimum 3 years experience in a quality department in the automotive industry. Minimum 3 years within a process engineering discipline. Fully trained experienced CMM Programmer. Fully trained and experienced in Offline CMM Programming to alignment requirements. Fully understanding of Technical Drawings and GD&T. Piweb, GOM and Zeiss experience. High Standard of computer literacy. Excellent verbal and written communicator. Understanding of Manufacturing Processes (Welding, Measuring Equipment, Customer Processes). Familiarity with Measuring Equipment and Financial/Budget Concepts.
