Job Title: Chief Sub EditorAbout the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Sub Editor to join our team at Profile Personnel. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging layouts for our publications.
Main Responsibilities: Design and layout pages to ensure a high-quality visual experience for our readers.Work closely with our editorial team to ensure that all content meets our standards of accuracy and readability.Manage a team of sub-editors and provide guidance and support to ensure that all copy is sub-edited to our standards.Initiate and recommend fresh and imaginative ways of working to improve our editorial processes.Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification in journalism or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in reporting, sub-editing, and layout.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Familiarity with media law and the Press Code.What We Offer: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
