Metrology and Laboratory ManagerBerlin – East London You will be responsible for the Operational Management of the CMM Room, Measurement in-line Systems, Destructive & Non-Destructive and Laboratory areas.
Also responsible to lead, Control and plan the Metrology and Laboratory to meet the organizations objectives and customer requirements.
Key Performance Areas:Manage the Budget of the Laboratory and measurement areas of responsibilityResponsible for the Disciplinary and Technical leadership of the teamEnsuring the required resources and competencies are in placeResponsible for the review and communication of Measurement and Test resultsManage engineering change and product evolutionManage and maintain critical equipment in the CMM room.
Requirements Tertiary Engineering/Trade QualificationMinimum 3 years experience in internal quality auditing within the automotive environmentMinimum 3 years experience in a quality department in the automotive industryMinimum 3 years within a process engineering discipline.Fully trained experienced CMM ProgrammerFully trained and experienced in Offline CMM Programming to alignment requirementsFully understanding of Technical Drawings and GD&T Piweb, GOM and Zeiss experienceHigh Standard of computer literacy, Excellent verbal and written communicatorManufacturing Processes (Welding, Measuring Equipment, Customer Processes)Measuring EquipmentFinancial/Budget Concepts
