Merchandising & Sales Rep

Our client is looking for a Merchandising Sales Repr to increase the positive representation of their client's products. In this role, you visit outlets carrying our products to set up marketing displays and provide information to in-store employees. As part of these responsibilities, you rotate the items and ensure they are front-facing. Since you physically represent the company and build a relationship with retailers, you will assist with the ordering and delivery cycle as well.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Make store visits to rotate product, complete resets, and replenish inventory
Help manage retail accounts, particularly the ordering and delivery cycle
Identify new retail distribution opportunities in your territory
Set up marketing displays for our products in various retail locations
Build relationships with customers and negotiate for ideal product placement
Increase in-store knowledge of our products

Requirements and Qualifications:

Matric
Relevant sales /marketing qualification
Sales and merchandising experience strongly preferred
Customer service and communication skills
Physical ability to lift weighted products
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Market related salary structure - with travel allowance and commission structure
