The Company: An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join an established supply chain business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced company, they have a very flexible business model and offer hybrid 2 days in the office
The Role: Managing key customer accountsBuilding reports to share with the business and customers.Forecasting demand and placing rebuys based on lead times.Managing stockResponsible for purchasing of all new lines/rebuys for designated customers, in line with target delivery dates.Responsible for implementing and managing the Critical Path process.Keeping the customer updated on any changes to the critical path, stock levels, availability dates.Liaising with National account manager/ QC/ Warehouse/ Customer/ SuppliersRaising and maintaining purchase orders to ensure on time delivery by working with Far East etc.Dealing with customer stock enquiries and liaising and building relationships with other areas like the warehouseImplement sustainability changes on packaging in line with changing guidelines.Understand and use customer portals to upload/ download product data.Supporting the Head of Customer OperationsCustomer/ Store visits as required.Skills Required: Inquisitive, analytical mind and strong communication skills.Enthusiastic & able to work cooperatively with different departments.Able to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines whilst attention to detail is paramount.Excellent Excel skills.Excellent forecasting skills.Experience of working with Far East factories.Confidence to carry out one to one Meeting on and off site with senior peopleOrganisedOwn car and full driving license
