The following will serve as added advantage: Experience and training in Interventional Radiology.
DUTIES: Interview, investigate, diagnose, and oversee the treatment of patients.
Improve quality of care by providing appropriate clinical care and supervising junior medical staff.
Willingness to do commuted overtime, including night, weekend, and public holiday duties to ensure continuous, uninterrupted care of patients.
Attendance at relevant administrative meetings such as mortality meetings and near miss meetings; completing medico-legal documents timeously (e.g., Death Certificate).
Participate in the hospital's academic program and all activities related to teaching and research within the discipline.
Ensure proper and accurate record-keeping as legally and ethically required.
Report to the head of unit on service delivery, clinical audit, and where necessary, quality improvement plans.
Assist the HOD in monitoring, implementing, and adhering to compliance with National Core Standards within specific outreach programs.
Prepare and write reports.
Assist the clinical head with administrative duties.
