Reference: JHB000946-VM-1Global medical company requires a Medical Sales Consultant to join their team in the Free State for sales of capital equipment to new and existing clients.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMatricMedical and/or Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification would be advantageousAt least 3-5 years' work experience in a similar role in the Health Care Industry, with a proven sales track record with capital equipmentMinimum 5 years sales experience including capital medical devicesUnderstanding of Private and Government processesCustomer service orientated and focusedValid driver's license and reliable own vehicleAbility to work independentlyAvailable outside of normal office hours, as per customer requirementsChampioning and driving the growth of the business within the designated territory by developing relationships with key influencersProviding specialist capital and clinical support to key customers/clinicians to ensure the best possible solutions for patient carePromoting the complete range of productsAchieving sales targetsMaintaining and developing relationships with existing customersBuilding relationships with potential customers for developing new business and analyzing needsSales reporting on activities, planners, rolling forecasts, competitors info, market share, install base, and database maintenanceDeveloping and effectively managing a sales pipelineEffective territory coverage and analysisFrequent assessments in all wards of hospitals and other medical facilitiesCustomer needs development through frequent demos and customer educationCommissioning (installation of products) at customersIn-service training on all products sold, bearing in mind shift changes of hospital staffProviding customers with solutionsProviding feedback on future buying trendsRepresenting the company at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events, and demonstrationsLiaising with the operations department to check on the progress of existing ordersKeeping up to date with product knowledge as well as all competitor productsRecording sales and order information and conducting analysisMaintaining and communicating weekly planner and daily activities completed and outcomes or actions to follow up onMaintaining an accurate customer databaseCRMForecastingEffectively managing accounts receivable processesPackage & RemunerationMonthly plus Basic + Cell + Car allowance + medical aid + pension + commission
