Medical Receptionist, PietermaritzburgOur client, a Pulmonologist in Pietermaritzburg, is seeking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist.Requirements:Manage the switchboardRun an efficient diary and appointment schedule for the doctor and a clinical technician.Keep patients informed if the Dr is running late and manage service delays professionally.Receive patients in a courteous and professional mannerCapture patient information and scan and file documentation accordinglyIn-house payments and receiptingVarious administrative tasksLiaison with medical bureau for billing submissionsMaintain a positive patient experienceAttend to stocktake requirementsMaintain a clean and professional reception areaQualification:Matric/Grade 12 qualificationAt least 2 years' experience as a medical receptionistExperience in a medical practice is essentialEnglish & Afrikaans (verbal & written)Knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsSkills and attributes:Ability to work independently and unsupervisedStrong interpersonal and organisational skillsHardworkingAbility to work under pressure and prioritizeComputer literacy and high attention to detailMust be able to multitaskExcellent communication and listening skillsWorking hours:Monday to Friday: 08h00 - 17h00Only candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
