A busy multidisciplinary psychology practice is looking for a vibrant, articulate, and experienced Administrator in Paarl.
The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transport is required.
Job description: • Managing the diaries of allocated clinicians.
• Issuing receipts.
• Scheduling of appointments.
• Dealing with claim queries and PMB applications to medical aids.
• Contacting newly referred clients for appointments.
• Managing medical aid queries.
• Answering phone calls.
• Follow up on unpaid accounts.
• Responding to inquiries.
• Assist with account queries.
• Maintaining professional communication.
• Daily cash up for the branch.
• Switchboard management.
• Manage petty cash for the branch.
• Receiving clients in the reception area.
• Ensure the practice is always neat and tidy.
• Issuing invoices, doing billing.
• Performing general admin tasks.
• Collection of payments.
• Filing.
Requirements Requirements: Experience • Minimum of two years' experience as administrator in the medical/allied health professions industry - Essential • Experience in at least one medical management software program – Essential · Experience in doing billing and collections of payments - Essential.
· Having GoodX experience will be an advantage.
Qualifications: Matric - Essential Required skills: • The ability to manage 3 to 4 psychologists' diaries with accuracy and precision: • The ability to work under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of practice management systems.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Excellent computer skills.
(Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, GoodX, etc.)
• Financial management skills, such as daily cash up and petty cash.
